Hi, Dave.

It was a bit of a weak report, considering the distance. By ear, he was
about the same s/n as G3KEV's daytime signal.

On my TX antenna, my local noise level sits around -73 dBm, which is S5, and
G4ADR wasn't moving the meter on my ICOM.

I've replaced the coax that runs down the garden with LDF 4-50(!) to reduce
losses and pick-up of rubbish, and the next job is to sort out my tuned
loop, which should improve s/n on receive. Trouble is, it's deaf, so I need
to open up the tuning box and see why it doesn't work.

Also copied G3UNT at 589 this afternoon.

G4ADR is in Thame, I copy him quite well (579) but he doesn't seem to
have built his receiver yet. Should be quite a lot stronger than 539
with you.

Dave
