Hi All,
On 2nd April in an e-mail to LF I wrote :-
"I have been seeing a UNID signal (just audible) both day & night, I don't
think it is local to me, the signal is continuous carrier at about 501.920
kHz. Does anyone else see it or know its ID. If not I will investigate for a
local source."
& on 3rd I wrote :-
"The UNID signal on 501.920 kHz went off at 1505z this afternoon & not seen
since !!"
No one admitted to seeing or emitting the signal so I asumed it was locally
generated.
But it has shown up very regularly from time to time both at daytime & night
with a very stable continuous signal & sometimes audible.
Today it appeared again with the resemblence of QRSS & an ID of some sort. I
ran SpecLab at QRSS10 all day & here is a capture showing what does look
like an ID "TJ" several times. See attachment.
Does anyone else see this signal, or is anyone geerating it ? it is on at
the moment with continuous carrier.
