Hi John,
just set up the Wolf GUI and the cardioid antenna, noise doesn't look
too bad here now. I do however see a weak carrier on 137580.3 (not
local) which might possibly degrade sensitivity. If you could go down
by 10 Hz to 137567, you'd also sit in a narrow minimum of the FSK
sidebands from the new DCF39 TX. It has other wider gaps as well, e.g.
between 137620 and 137650, or between 137410 and 137450 Hz.
Good luck
Markus, DF6NM

Thema: LF: WD2XES WOLF Tonight
WD2XES will be running in WOLF(10) mode on 137.577 kHz tonight,
starting around 2300 UTC. Reports are welcome. WOLF is pretty
noise-tolerant, so don't let the static crashes scare you away (unless
they're very close!).
John Andrews, W1TAG/WD2XES
