I have one of the SDR IQ and I find that it has stellar performance on
all frequencies
I no longer have a quiet enough QTH to do a lot below 500 Khz but a
friend has one and
it works as good as his other rcv system. I find it works well at 505 to
510 the USA band
the software that I like is WINRAD but the spectran that comes with the
radio is good too
as it allows you to record up to 190 Khz of the spectrum you are tuning
