Hello Dave,
please leave your beacon on tonight. I will listen for you.

Hi Wolf, and thanks to Laurie and Mike for the reports.
I'm amazed how far a little bit of RF goes on 503 kHz.
I can RX on 137 kHz and transmit on 503.5 kHz OK, but I'll need to complete
the PA to get over to Germany, I'm sure.
If there's any interest, I can leave the low power TX on beacon on overnight
on QRSS 30 or 60. It's hardly likely to burn the place down...I'm using a
Mini-circuits ZFL-1000 amplifier "brick", that has a max output of about 100
mW. It will just about light a torch bulb.

Hi Dave,
Any chance for a crossband 136 kHz <-> 503 kHz for those poor
continental fellows ?
Will be monitoring 503 kHz +/- x tonight with an IC 706 (no idea how it
will perfom though), and if I hear anyone on 600 meters will give him a
call on 136.800 kHz, or -alternatively- in DFCW3 on 137.703 kHz for the
grabulators.

( a bit envious, since everyone seems to move off to medium wave now ;-)
