Many thanks for the reports and screenshots. The transmissions were at a power of 10W RF, giving an estimated 50mW ERP. My antenna is the regular 137 kHz "Tee" at 5m, but with a different (smaller) loading coil for 501 kHz. Antenna current was about 300 mA.
 
The night-time characteristics of the band are interesting, and it will also be interesting to see what the daytime signals are like.
