Sure gonna be a lot easier on the electric bill running QRP power levels on 503kc. Most guys here in the US are running 35-50w on 505kc. That covers the whole US in regular CW and gets into Europe & the Pacific with QRSS. It would be nice to have a worldwide 501-510kc band with maybe 50w ERP as a only limit. No voice modes, just CW and digital stuff.

Thanks everyone. I just tried some tests with Finbar at Malin Head and he can just copy the CW at 1W TX power so it looks as if this will be a nice band at night.
