Hmm - maybe out for a long lunch John! Im seeing DCF39 and Budapest at 1406Z at around -58, some 20 dB above noize - the delta between them is just a few dBs and of course a few hours before their local sunsets. I ve stuck the "slinger" on 505.1 overnight hoping to see Gus - cant see any 136/137 activity save MP blasting away. Funny how both my R75s seem less sensitive between around 0.41 Mhz and into the medium wave with this probe - its no a step change so dont think its switched filters I can see - I know the 75 has a 6dB or so filter in there but is it switched out below a certain freq as well? I can see a step increase in sensitivity at 1.6Mhz which I expect Im using the qrn as a background source...perhaps its a bug/hole in my probes response - there's enuf of them flying around here.
