Hi Tom,

To *receive* CASTLE mode, you don't need any special configuration. Any of the widespread "QRSS" viewers will do (when set to QRSS3). If you cannot get the CASTLE *transmit* function in SL to work, can you be more specific what the problem is ?
If the problem is just WHERE to find it, here in short form:

In the main menu, "Quick Settings" .. "Slow Morse Reception" .. "Slow CW, 3 seconds per dot".

Then, again in the main menu, select "View/Windows" .. "Digimode Terminal" ... (then, in the digimode window)... "Settings"..."Select Predefined Mode" .. "Slow CW (QRSS+DFCW+CASTLE)" ... "CASTLE 3 (3 sec / dot)".

If you don't see the CASTLE mode in the digimode terminal, your version is too old. Again, there is no special configation required (and implemented) to *receive* CASTLE .

HTH, best regards,
 Wolf DL4YHF .

I have been watching the Castle transmissions but cannot get the
predefined mode in spectrum lab to work. Can you give me some pointers on what the setting need to be?

Thanks,
