DFCW has many advantages, but it can cause problems here in England where Loran lines are 8Hz apart and very strong. This morning I have seen two very weak DFCW stations which have been unreadable because one element (dot or dash) has been on a Loran line. DFCW stations may get more UK contacts if they sometimes send QRSS, where there is double the chance of missing a Loran line. Mike, G3XDV ========== |
