Dear J.,
regardless how the QRSS or DFCW signal is used (keying or audiosignal) the
fast-CW id is done by keying.
So if you have the TRX in SSB mode and use the audiosignal to generate a
DFCW signal the fast-CW id is still CW keyed.
I will try to have a look at it tonight and see I can can come up with a
fast (and simple) solution.

Is it possible to send DFCW and still send the 6 wpm id.
I have tried it and must be doing something wrong because I hear the relay
kick in and out, but with the rig still on SSB, I would need the audio to
key with the DFCW port or else have a diode pair or something so that both
the PTT and CW ports key the same line. Is this true or is there a
simpler way to do it by using software controls or settings already in QRS?
