Hi Tom & LF,

The slotted discs on the first web page are very similar to my first attempt
at basket weave coils for loading my trap dipole for receive when I first
became interested in LF. I made the basket weave forms out of CD,s. I still
have them in a box somewhere.

Gary - G4WGT.

Hello group,

just to whom it may concern:

I happened to find a web site (sorry - only in German) offering coil
form kits made from polyamid 6.6 with 30% glassfibers for basket coils
and cylindrical air coils:

http://www.roehrentechnik.de/html/flachspulen.html
http://www.roehrentechnik.de/html/luftspulen.html

They offer accessories like plug in pins, sockets and simple litz wire
too, the prices seem to be quite reasonable (I dont get any commission ;-))
For all of the coil forms you can find some graphs about L and Q versus
number of turns, kind of wire and frequency.

Up to now I have`n tested this source by myself, indeed.
