I am monitoring on two different receivers & two different antennas (LF
vertical & LF Mini-Whip). In view of what you have said about 50Hz hum I
have at present only got half my ground rods connected due to making
possible grounding improvements which I have not finished yet (rained off),
surely that can't cause me to see an image at plus & minus 50 & 100 Hz?

Yes it was. See my direct e-mail for the result of this test. 50 and
100Hz suggests hum somewhere doesn't it.
