LF: Non Directional Beacons around 500kHz

There have always been aero non directional beacons (NDBs) around 500kHz.

For example, take a look at Martin Francis's (NDB) Signals Received 
Worldwide web page, and put 495kHz to 515kHz into the frequency box
http://www.classaxe.com/dx/ndb/rww/?mode=signal_list

These are only the NDBs that have been received, by what is really only a 
handful of listeners, and not all those that exist
