Andy,

Recvd here (IO91UF) all afternoon 5/7 on my 1.2m mobile 160m whip in car while driving around locally.
About 4-5 steps down to disappear.

Cheers,

Walter G3JKV.

I have now increased the power of this beacon to 10 Watts. It uses a clone
of the PA designed for GB3ORK (described in RadComic last year) based around
an MRF137 operating in class AB1.

As this is the weekend and I'm at home 24/7, it will run continuously as an
attended beacon.
