Mal,

I believe you will need a RS232 to USB adapter, readily available at computer outlets.

You can use the LPT port with QRS but when I tried it with my laptop it would not do DFCW, may have been my laptop.

Hi All
Does anyone have the pin layout for the now common USB computer plug/socket. I do not have any tech info and wonder if it is compatible with the old RS232 to use with the ON7YD keying s/ware.
Others upgrading their computers will have the same problem, there is no RS232 or parallel ports on the newer machines.
