LF group, Thanks to Jean Pierre F1AFJ and Jean Pierre F5YG for the signal reports. As Warren says, this feedback makes beacon operation worthwhile. I'd like to especially thank Hartmut Wolff for his excellent and regular reporting. He was the first to hear amateur 2200m TA signals and the first to copy a 1600m signal across the pond as well. The Decca amp is working will. I'm using 2 of the 3 PA's to give me 500 watts and an aerial current of 2.8 amps. The conservative operation is due to power supply limitations -- I have only 59 volts at 14 amps. I'd be happy to take any requests for TA skeds this weekend and will be RX on 136.317 kHz. 73 Joe On Thu, 23 Feb 2006, Jean-Pierre Godet wrote: NA 0200 ==> 0315 UTC ; XGJ 0130 ==> 0445 UTC. Heavy storm statics before 0030, between 0200 and 0230, and after 0400. Best 73 to all on the reflector F5YG |
