Indications at present suggest that LF is probably good.
There is good propagation on 80 metres at present to the USA during daytime. Stns hrd W2FU, W1MK and FP/K8DD but to mention a few. These were heard around 1100 utc today Sunday working in the CW WW contest.
Its a pity some of these operators didint work LF because I could be in with a chance for a CW QSO.
It seems the big time 160 and 80 metre operators in the USA, with the large antennas and cw expertise are not interested in LF.
Over the past  couple of years I have worked a good number of operators on the HF bands and especially 160 metres that have deserted LF never to go back so they say !!!!!!! because of the lack of CW activity.
137 khz has now become a Beacon mode band like the Aeronautical LF band. The chance of a transatlantic QSO these days is NIL
