The sun just produced a flare rated at "X13+" according to the NASA site. The time was given as 1740 UTC. According to my daytime WOLF output from WD2XDW (2150 km), the signal took a huge jump around 1630 UTC. Laurence's signal had been well below the decoding threshold up to that point.
