Unfortunately you'd be at the other end and we'd never hear the end of
Hi Scott.
I hope you make it across to EU in the foreseeable future. There is a good
chance I will be able to copy your signals.
The antenna system here has been refurbished and consists of a vertical loop
100 ft high and 300 ft horizontal, total area 30,000 sq ft hanging between
two towers out in the clear, no trees in the way, and parallel resonated on
137 khz. Loop direction E/W and should be good in your direction. The other
antenna is vertical at 120 ft max and consists of 5 inv L antennas each one
120 ft vert and over 400 ft horiz. They all converge at the bottom of the
tower to a 50ohm matching arrangement and piped to the shack some 150 ft
I think you should also hear me given a good tail wind. If you would like to
try a QSO let me know, preferably on CW or QRS although I can work all of
the other popular modes if pushed.
