Dear Gary, LF Group,
Just replace the CW carrier with the Jason multi-FSK signal - since the
signal has a constant amplitude, using a class D amplifier is not a problem.
Frequency shift keying the signal like this does generate some extended
sidebands, but these are much smaller than the ones produced by binary PSK,
so the signal has a respectable bandwidth. The only remaining problem is how
to translate the sound card audio signal up to 137kHz - hence the "phasing"
exciters that have been discussed recently.
