Hi,Unfortunately I didn't hear the SAQ transmission as I was far from home (QRL), but I put an untuned big T antenna to a Skanti receiver and I just heard 4 long dashes (tuning phase) few minutes before 17:00z. All the other FSK and times signal was there so I believe that the actual power was less than usual. 73's Alex K. It is around 1000km to Grimeton from my QTH, for which the ERP works out to about 340W - which seems very low. .... Has anybody else found SAQ to be weaker than it used to be?Yes, Jim, it was 1-2 S-units weaker than usual here in Athens. 73 Costas SV1XV +------------------------------------------------------------+ | Costas Krallis SV1XV * LOC KM18UA | | P.O.Box 3066 * E-Mail: | | GR-10210 Athens * PGP key: 0x3BDBBC34 | | GREECE * http://www.qsl.net/sv1xv/ | +------------------------------------------------------------+ . |
