Didn't start transmitting until 2310z.
Had problems with the feed insulator. There is a lot of fog &

precipitation

tonight and moisture is running off the sloping section of the antenna on

to

the insulator, causing some arcing and steam! (is this the origin of

'steam

radio' I ask).

I am transmitting QRSS30 for the time being with the system under
supervision. Just checked my signals on DF6NM's grabber.


Switched off at 0020z
Will try again early morning
