Just found this on the German "DARC" website:

Die Frequenzbereichszuweisungsplanverordnung auf der Grundlage des TKG ist am 7. Oktober 2004 in Kraft getreten. Sie enthält Verbesserungen für die Funkamateure, wie beispielsweise

* Leistung von 1 W ERP im Bereich 135,7 bis 137,8 kHz

(No more crazy 20-W-PEP limit for the transmitter, but 1-W-ERP limit, good news 
for 99 % of us - those without access to commercial longwave towers ;-)


In other words, heat up your soldering irons, guys.

(For me, time to climb up those old lightmasts at the clubstation again).
