Here in Germany I had some problems with the QRN last night.

Very good copy of VO1NA in QRSS30 0000-0515. For copying the 5wpm mode
the QRN was to high. Between 2200-2300z I captured something like a
digital mode on 137.777. I don't know what this was.

On 137779.0/779.2 I had a very weak copy of XES. Saw XES better in
May earlier this year.

On 137700 I saw QSOs OH5UFO/F6BWO and OH5UFO/M0BMU around 2000-2100z.
M0BMU was here around 32dB above the noise level. Outstanding signal!

Definately the best night since last Spring for long haul NE/SW - DCF39 2 7900Kms was audible for many hours and faded at 0646Z with strengths that would have probably supported signal capture from 137Khz stations. Radio 4 UK on 198Khz speech was audible between the qrn, and 252Khz carrier was there but no speech decode.

XES was good too but still nothing from Vo1na; he might be in the null for the loop but nothing on the K9AY either in that direction.

TIL was only (just) Argo  detectable for about 30 mins and no ID captured.

Ive posted a couple of shots of the high current atu which is in the final stages of build out on the web site...big soldering iron jobby.

Ill continue to log 137Khz from about 1 hour before dusk, and logging Hifers during the daytime, until Wednesday and beyond when Ill leave the radios on +24hr remote for the 137Khz South American/EU tests. Ill be in Seattle WA over the weekend..
