I made enquiries about "magnetic" water softeners and see that several are
described as ELF123 or similar and claim to use 'powerful ELF magnetic
fields' to keep hard deposits in suspension . I felt bad vibes just from
reading about it....does anyone have one of these gadgets?

Subject: LF: Rogue DVD player
I have recently been given a cheap DVD player
manufatured by Hyundai. The handbook describes it as
DVD-320A/360A/560A, but I am not sure which model it is.
Whilst on standby it produces noises on the 136kHz band -
see the attached waterfall display.
No problem when switched on so easily fixed, but this info
may be helpful if you have a similar interference, perhaps
from a neighbour's DVD player.
