Hello all,
For those in Europe who want to know where the lightning
storms are concentrated I can recommend

Brian and I have consulted this site regularly for a year or
so now. It can also be useful to give an early warning for
those with big wires up, to help protect your receiver front
ends!!.
If you're interested, a more detailed look at storms in Poland:

It is always fun to refresh the page and see local lightnings to
appear on the map within a few seconds :) The map legend should
be obvious, the only thing that might need translating are the (-
) and (+) sign, which mean whether the lightning voltage is
cloud-earth negative or positive (the latter said to be more
dangerous).
Recently, there is a little problem with the map: cities are ca.
30km south-west from the proper position.
