Well, if the stability and frequency accuracy of 2m beacons is anything to go by he'll have a terrible job finding beacons with Speclab at 23cm never mind 240 GHz!!!!
With SSB or CW modes that would be very difficult.
On the other hand, if you just switch the 241GHz on and off at an audio rate or select a modulation type that does not depend on exact frequencies e.g.FM etc there are no drift problems visible on the screen.
