Hi Mal,

The SB-221 was a latter-day version of the SB-220 (I think the only
significant difference was that 10m was hard to enable, following the FCC's
anti-CB ploy).

Search for SB-220 instead.  You should drown.  It was a very popular amp.

for a start is Rich Measures' page  -  he wrote a series of articles in QST
about the 220 some time ago, which as I remember started a furore with
disputations from many major amplifier designers of note, but at least it's
a start.
