Hi all at LF,

Still got problems with antenna, SWR looks OK on meter & changes when I tune
variometer coil but PA mosfets get very hot but only warm on dummy load,
also I have no antenna current (was showing 1.2 to 1.5 amps during ealier
testing)but lots of RF at top of coil (got a little RF burn when my finger
got too close), so still some work on antenna required !

Having replaced suspect capacitors with higher spec components the G0MRF Tx
now producing 300 watts into dummy load.

Whilst on the subject of dummy loads, are Metal Oxide resistors suitable for
dummy loads ? because much higher ratings (5 watts) are available for same
physical size as the 2 watt carbon film resistors in my home brew dummy
