Hi to all at LF,
After a disasterous start (destroyed several compnents due to test probe
slipping)& various delays such as work & family things getting in the way, I
have finally completed the G0MRF
LF transmitter. Power supply is not up to spec but testing into dummy load
it shows promise (about 150 watts DC). New power supply is soon to be
constructed but I will carry out some
on air transmitter & antenna tests at this lower power.
A couple of things you can help with, what frequency would you suggest for
my tests
using QRSS3 & can you advise a good method (simple) of checking RF output
power at 136 Khz.
The only decent power meter I have is a Bird Thro-Line with VHF & UHF
elements other than the usual array of SWR meters.
I will advise of date/times of tests.
