Why not move the transmitter 500 metres nearer the antenna?

I've just picked up a brand new 500m roll of RG59 on ebay for the grand
price of £6.50 and I'd like another to go with it, but I haven't yet

managed

to find a supplier who sells rolls over 250m long.
