When I was comissioning a Decca 5501 (kindly lent by the Crawley club) for use on 73kHz T/A tests,I found that the side pannels were getting very hot especially around the screw fixings. After removing all these and thoroughly cleaning the metal underneath the unit ran perfectly cool. This supports Walters "perfect" continuity statement. Laurie G3AQC |
