Hello LF Group,
after again one of my FETs in my PA failed yesterday during a 10s QRSS QSO
with RN6BN (thermal problems, the PA is simply build into a housing that is
too small, I believe) I wanted to ask if someone of you has a 500 to 1000
Watt PA for sale (I simply don't have the time to build a new one from
scratch, tried to plan that many times in the past but never really achieved
something).
What I am looking for is a 1 kW (or a bit less) non-linear PA for CW and
QRSS to be able to get up to the 1 W ERP that I hold a special license for.
Maybe some of you has an old one available that you used before you got hold
of those DECCA PAs, or I would also like to get hold of a half-finished
project that I can finish. Alternative would of course be a DECCA PA but I
am sure those are all in the hands of the active LF hams.

... and I will repair the 350 Watt PA tonight and call RN6BN again, I don't
