Hi Ian that sounds adequate with any reasonable sized aerial you will
probably get a few microvolts of noise from the aerial (I think I get abt
3uV in 300Hz)

As it happens I checked out my TS850 yesterday and got the following
figures
in 270Hz bw, slope fully open, 10 dB S+N/N;

73 KHz, 0.5uV pd;

136KHz, 0.17uV pd.

Admittedly the sig genny is not within calibration warranty
but...............!
