Conditions over/near and around the pole continue to improve; at 0600Z this morning 12th the northern norwegian bcast station on 153Khz was only averaging 20 dB down on what I saw on the 5/6th Jan. (good music!) Deep QSB is still evident - DCF49 on 128.93 (sic) still outshines DCF 39 on 139 by more than 3 dB though they trade QSB. BBCr4 is still battling against not so local NDB transmissions and Im still missing "sailing by"... Laurence KL1X Anchorage |
