Thanks Alan for your comments- This 137Khz band has more modes and
variability than 50Mhz, and some remarkable but distant
similariities....Ill be erecting another loop today if I can persuade this
large cow moose to leave base of the tower.

Overnight - not brilliant (another technical term....) DCF and European
(sic) interference splurges  on 137. 7747 came out of the noise from 0330Z
and peaked, again, at 0400Z for about an hour. Eu Broadcast stations were
audible, but down on the previous night. No  signals on 137 seen. Not worth
waking anybody up but Brian seems to be burning the midnight oil....
