Hi Jim and the LF group, Last nights experiment was useful,it certainly seems that early morning is a good time,however I am sure that the situation we have had recently is "average".When the earlier crossings on 136 and my 73kHz crossings were made,conditions were above average.I am sure that this requires a period of decay 14-20 days after a disturbance CME etc. As we are moving into a less active solar situation (2006 is predicted as the minimum) perhaps we should make the most of the present situation.
