I transmitted on 71.752kHz between about 1900 and 2100 last night - at
least it proves the TX, loading coil etc. is still in working order! ERP
would have been around 100mW. No response was seen on 137.7kHz during this
period. Afterwards, I had a CW QSO with G3AQC; Laurie was 589 with me and
undoubtedly has the strongest signal on the band at the moment. Then I
changed frequency to 137.7kHz, and eventually saw tuning-up type signals
from RU6LA, followed by a single CQ call from Ed at around 2240. I replied
to this, but no further signals were seen.
