I have tested some 600 ohm modem transformers, they works well also for LF.
The insertion loss at 300 kHz is between 1 and 3 dB. Inside PCMCIA cards
modem for lap top you can find very small transformers. They should be sure
up to few hundreds volts between primary and secondary.
