G'day Bill, Don't see a problem here. Could even be a good perch for the birds in the winter? Dave ZL3FJ has been running a loop for quite a few years now with 800W PEP which gives a peak of around 30A. No reports of any problems that I have heard. It is run from a suburban backyard and is about 25 feet high by 50 foot long. It uses 2 conductors of 7/1.5mm aluminium in parallel and has an inductance of about 64uH. Series tuned by about 15nF. 73s Steve VK2ZTO |
