Hi Guys,
Ed has asked me to translate his weekend report into English, which I do with pleasure and append below:

Final news at the conclusion of the First Russian LF DX Expedition (15.00Z 8 April):
Russian Station W0DKA RU6LWZ LF crew (RU6LA,UA6LV,UA6LFQ)

Completed QSOs 6-7 April (times in UTC):
6apr 2054 OH5UFO QRSS3 RU6LWZ
2120 IK5ZPV QRSS3 RU6LA
2140 IK5ZPV CW UA6LV

7apr 0005 OM2TW QRSS3 RU6LA
0038 M0BMU QRSS3 RU6LA

We now plan to start regular UA LF activity.

Some General information about LF activities in Russia:

The LF band 135.7 - 137.8 kHz was allocated to Russian amateurs on 29 June 1998 for A1A (CW), with the following powers
Category 1: up to 100 W Output.
Category 2/3: up to 50 W Output.
Category 4: up to 10 W Output.

The first experiments were made in 1998-99 between UA9OBA and RW9OWN (a distance of 2km)
- 19may 2000 RN2FA and UA2FF (10km)
- 1may 2001 1107z RA9MB and UA9MAZ (5km)

Following our LF DX-pedition, new interest in LF has arisen on the Russian-Asian Reflector.
We hope that new Russian LF calls will be heard in the near future.
We were heard for sure by UA3DOX(~1000km), UU4JMG(~400km), UR5MID(~150km),
UT2IO(~130km) although in (Ukraine) the 136kHz band is not yet available to amateurs.
There is also known to be great interest in LF by RV3DA, RX3QFM.
Best regards,

Ed asks: "I don't know how Russian humour will go down in the External World, but W0DKA can be read in two ways." In reply I can assure him that it will be understood world wide, although we (English) use a V rather than a W. Let's not start a war over spelling, hi!
