I´ve been reading about CFA on Antennex since 1999 and the controversy still
there. Most of the experimenters that published some design abandoned the
projects.

We can feel this because the CFA´s related articles disappeared there. There
was several projects, for 160m, 80, 40m, etc but results was marginal.

Mr. Kabbary, one of the developers, never explained in details the magic
touch to make this antenna works as pointing vector synthethizer.

Every broadcaster that hire Kabbary´s company to install CFAs abandoned the
barrel somewhere on it´s warehouses (Germany, San Remo radio, Australia).
Here in Brazil, Eng. Damiani brought one for a BC station that´s 45Km from
my
house. Last reports says that they halt the project for a while, waiting for
Mr. Kabbary visit, accomplished by his "magic touch".

Still a controversy antenna anyway, with it´s looog wire feeders
(radiators?). The NEC simulations shows that there´s a short monopole. Only
this. Australia installation suggest that the building structure acted as
part of the radiating structure ... Other more controlled prototyping showed
the same inefficiency ...

Anyway ... CFA didn´t show yet it´s real value or - at least - as a pointing
vector synthethizer.
