Mitch Powell wrote: Hello all: While observing the AMRAD beacon ( usual daily check and routine) I started comparing my new K9AY (KAZ ) antenna with the K0LR/KI0LE open wire loop. The results were verrrrrrrry interesting - as I was able to see a complete signal with one antenna - and lots of noise and questionable signal with the other antenna. For a few dollars and a tree limb, this K9AY is really performing. I have placed pictures of the captured signal on http://technology.fanshawec.on.ca/eltn225 and hope they help some of those with noise problems such as I have. 73 Mitch VE3OT |
