Hi Ko, well AOR claim that the 7030 receives down to 0Hz !!! What they dont
say is that the sensitivity starts to decline markedly below 25kHz.. I
suspect the 5000 is intended as a wide coverage receiver and may not be
optimum on the lower frequencies.

Does anyone use, or has used a Yaesu FT847 or the AOR AR-5000 on 136Khz?
There's info allover the internet but can't find a user or his findings on
these rigs.
I noticed the AR-5000 does not have many hf controls, no PBS or BWC etc
but they claim it receives down to 10Hz (Sure)
