Further to my previous note I forgot to mention that the 781 tunes in 10Hz steps 2.5Khz per revolution of the knob wheras the 756 can be set to 1hz steps with 500 Hz per revolution! which is of course much better.So far as weak signals are concerned I could find no difference between the two recievers. 73s again Laurie.L
