How will you be determining effective radiated power? Isn't ERP pretty much _defined_ in terms of field strength? 73, John KD4IDY Of course. But the reason for doing such experiments is that, believe it or not, there are those who argue that 1W ERP from a bigger antenna is better than 1W ERP from a smaller one.
