Hello Alfred DF2BC, hello all

While testing a mixer circuit, I came acros
DQ0KBM transmissions:

Saturday May 13/2000

11:45 UTC calling CQ on around 136.6 kHz
a nice 6 dB above noise floor
would report RST 339 aurally (without S-Meter!!)
QRN=2 to 1, QRM=3 to 2

13:25 UTC - 14:00 UTC
signal went weaker and mostly covered by local noise
RST 229 aurally

21:03 UTC calling CQ on around 136.6 kHz
due to higher noise level
RST 239 aurally

Sunday May 14/2000

tried during morning hours 07:25 - 08:00 no copy

tried sporadically during afternoon hours no copy

calling CQ on around 136.6 kHz
UTC RST QRN QRM (man made noise)
20:26 119 3 5 20:46 219 3 4
21:00 229 3 3
21:27 339 2 2
21:30 339 2 2
21:33 219 3 2
21:36 119 3 2
21:41 119 3 2
21:45 00x 3 2
21:50 119 2 2
22:00 119 2 2
22:47 229 2 2
23:03 329 2 2
23:10 339 2 2
went to bed :-O

There is a long term QSB on the signal observed, both
during daytime (saturday) as well as during night hours
(both on saturday and sunday).

During the last 2 years I never could copy anything else but signals from
Peter Bobek as DA0LF and DA0LF/p
Bernd Grupe DF8ZR
Wolf Ostwald DF2PY
all are about 30 km from my place.
The next improvement was to copy
Reiner Nabe DL3FDO in Nov/1999
who lives about 60 km from my QTH.

Alfred's signal now increases my personal ODX to
about 410 km. But due to the fact I could not hear any
of the stations which were in QSO with DQ0KBM
I am not too happy with it. Most of you more happy
fellows would have listened to Alfred's signal as to
a commercial BC signal (as signal strength concerns).
Perhaps it's due to the call sign of the operator hihi.
