Mike, GW3XDV and myself tried a QSO on 71.63kHz without success. It
is interesting that, in spite of both of us being to able to feed
2amps into reasonable antennas, nothing was seen or heard both ways.
At the time the QRN level was rising and the Loran lines were fading
under the general background noise on Spectran.
I could be that Rugby played its part in raising the noise floor.
Mike plans to repeat the test on Saturday morning. A time was not
specified but the generator has to be returned by 1100 local.
