Those dont look like RCA part numbers.....more like date codes ...viz week 44 of 1978 RCA power devices have 5 digit nos starting like 40xxx. I think I have a 1980s data book here somewhere Alan G3NY

Ah , that would explain it , I had the 5 digit as some form of batch number 60127 flags as 2N3055 ....... sort of to of been expected , in view of the application now to start digging in the attic ..
